Our Philosoy<\/strong> about our gods, is the creation of manufactured products through economically-sound processes that minimize negative environmental impacts while conserving energy and natural resources. Sustainable manufacturing also enhances employee, community, and product safety.<\/p>\r\n\r\n

\r\n\r\nMachete Company recognises that garment manufacturing is one of the most environmentally damaging and harmful industrial sectors on the planet, and takes decisive and often pioneering steps towards addressing the many negative impacts. Starting with the sourcing of raw materials, the Company ensures full traceability of all fibres, choosing low impact cotton, Tencel\u00ae Lyocel, bamboo viscose and recycled polyester in the Continental\u00ae range, 100% certified organic cotton in the EarthPositive\u00ae range, and recycled organic cotton<\/strong> blended with recycled polyester in the Salvage\u00ae range.\r\n

\r\n\r\nMachete Company works with Fair Wear Foundation stamp. Every work area is under regular controls to get a company’s commitment to social causes and control programs to support introduced standards by International Labour Organization, Ethic Trading Initiative and many other international organizations. No use of child labour \/ No use of forced labour \/ Safe and healthy working conditions \/ Legal labour contracts \/ Payment of living wage \/ Freedom of association and the right to collective bargaining \/ No discrimination against employees \/ No excessive hours of work.\r\n\r\nThe quality<\/strong> of our yarns and fabrics is the foundation to delivering the highest quality garments. During manufacturing process<\/strong> the good management of almost 70% of the used threads in the production as a part of his vertical process, attending to the extern obtention. Every thread that we use, are completely combed and ring threaded.\r\n

\r\n\r\nAll the fabrics are knitted at our in-house facilities, and dyed with GOTS approved chemicals, using low-water and controlled waste discharge processes, certified to OekoTex 100 Class I standard and conforming to REACH.\r\n\r\nOrganic certified fabrics are dyed in our zero-discharge dyehouse, where all the water is recycled in a closed-loop system.\r\n\r\n<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n

Machete Company nace en el suroeste gallego con la idea de mostrar al resto del mundo nuestra jungla particular, desde la \u00f3ptica personal del skateboard, surfing & motocicletas.<\/p>

WE ARE JUNGLE es nuestro lema, las transiciones, el mar, la naturaleza y la carretera, nuestro para\u00edso. Queremos mostraros a trav\u00e9s de esta plataforma todo lo que a nosotros nos interesa y amamos, esperamos que os guste y disfrut\u00e9is de ello tanto como nosotros.<\/p>

Nuestra filosof\u00eda<\/strong> con respecto a nuestros productos, es la creacio\u0301n de productos manufacturados a trave\u0301s de procesos econo\u0301micamente so\u0301lidos que minimizan el impacto sobre el medio ambiente mientras que conservan energi\u0301a y recursos naturales. La manufacturacio\u0301n sostenible adema\u0301s mejora la seguridad de los empleados, comunidad y productos.<\/p>

Empezando por la obtencio\u0301n de la materia prima, la empresa asegura total trazabilidad de las fibras, eligiendo algodo\u0301n de bajo impacto, Tencel\u00ae Lyocel, viscosa de bambu\u0301 y polie\u0301ster reciclado, algodo\u0301n orga\u0301nico 100% certificado y algodo\u0301n orga\u0301nico reciclado mezclado con polie\u0301ster.<\/p>

La calidad<\/strong> de nuestras telas e hilos es el fundamento de nuestro propo\u0301sito por hacer prendas de gran calidad.<\/p>

Durante la fabricaci\u00f3n se\u00a0controla el proceso<\/strong> de spinning de casi el 70% de los\u00a0hilos utilizados en la produccio\u0301n como parte de su estructura de proceso verticalmente integrada, sin olvidarnos de la obtencio\u0301n externa. Todos los hilos que usados\u00a0son enteramente peinados y de hilado de anillo.<\/p>

Todas las telas esta\u0301n tejidas y ten\u0303idas con qui\u0301micos aprobados por la GOTS, utilizando procesos controlados de descarga de desperdicio y bajo nivel de agua, certificado por OekoTex 100 Class I standard y conforme a REACH.<\/p>

Telas orga\u0301nicas certificadas son ten\u0303idas en tintoreri\u0301as de cero-descarga, donde el agua es reciclada en un sistema de circuito cerrado.<\/p>
