The people of the Dusty Track do not stop surprising us. This last edition added two more rudas to your Dusty track event, the “CARAMAGEDDOM”. Using the same dusty circuit in which the motorcycles rolled, a car race was formed in the style of “demolition derby”, in which it is more important than to reach the finish line first, to blow up your neighbor’s car or to take it off the track. Something that is not surprising, because you could hardly fit in the lane.

The specifications were very simple; chassis, engine and steering wheel. The rest is pure paraphernalia, reduce to the minimum expression a utility vehicle. The white smoke that came out of the engines and the exhaust pipes was an added bonus to the competition, we do not know if to mislead the opponent or just had minutes of life to all that engineering of low displacement.

We thank the Dusty Track team for their hospitality and also for not having mixed “churros with merinas”, that is, they did not coincide on the track cars and motorcycles. Something that on the way to the event, we did not have very clear. But they clarified very kindly that they did not have enough ambulances to be able to take the amputated organs, so they decided not to mix. We continue to hope that the next edition will not have the necessary number of ambulances.

A fantastic day of a lot of dust, something that was very bad for the carburetor air filter of our Derbi Variant Demolition, we could hardly complete 3 laps without having to clean it.

A pleasure to meet again with the people of Tone Up, trinta & um garage, the photographer Ana Pina and many people more related to the Dusty Track.

A great find was to meet The Portuguese Mustache, a very recommendable autochthonous blog, and mulamotorcycles with which we had a good duel on the track during the time that the carburetor filter allowed.

Here we leave some photos of us and others of photographers there.
