Malpica longboard classic, with only four editions, is already consolidated as the best longboard festival of our northwest coast. Located in the amazing village of Costa da Morte, Malpica de Bergantiños. It contains all the ingredients that you can not miss Surf, Rock & Foodbeer.
This last edition of Malpica longboard classic comprised from April 29 to May 2, four surfing days, Rock beer + beer + beer & food, which has nothing to envy Farruquito’s wedding.
The damn north wind bothered a bit the issue of waves, but that did not stop many from jumping into the water against all odds, never better. This did not affect the fact that the party and good vibes were guaranteed throughout the event. In the absence of waves, a couple or ten beers come.
Every lover of the “monoquilla” and soulsurfing in general, had an appointment at the event. Even having visits from the Portuguese and French scene; with the Gato Bask team.
The night of Friday and Saturday were livened up by the bands of R’N’R (of course), Killer Cats and Mad Martin Trio.
We had a fantastic reception in our first year at the festival, and from here we thank Toni Varela, Dani Alvite, José Dourado Blanco, Javi Taladrid, Marisú Fernandez Barrroso and Quique Otero Seijo. For your effort in organizing this whole session.
