The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride Vigo, took place last Sunday September 27 as the first edition in our city of this world event.

The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride for those who are not aware, this is a charity event, non-profit, which brings together fans of classic motorcycles and in turn dressed in their best outfit in order to raise funds for cancer prostate and raise awareness in health issues of the male gender.

The event took place in more than 81 countries around the world, and in different cities within each country. 36,842 Riders registered in the official page of The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride, have managed to raise a lot more than 2 million dollars, which is quite significant the implication of the people.

Both on the official website The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride and on their social networks, you can see images and videos of all the cities or regions that have participated.

On the route of Vigo with 57 registered Riders, it started at the museum of the sea in Alcabre and continued until the Paseo de Alfonso, passing through Monte del Castro and La Guía, ending at Plaza de Compostela.

Thanks to the Riders and the sponsors who got involved in the cause, Vigo got the fourth place in fundraising in Spain, after Madrid, Barcelona and Jerez.
