Last weekend together with Iron Mountain Surfboards, we were present at the second edition of Motorbeach 2014. This edition was located at Playa La Espasa, about 40km from Gijón.
The Motorbeach 2014 festival was divided into a surf section where we could find Neyra custom shapes, Chusma, Chipiron, Grandppa and Banger surfboards among others. There were also live performances by Chusma, Chipiron, Neyra and Monster surfboards. Although the swell this time (and as always happens in any surfing championship) did not join us pleasantly, but the judges organized a great rowing championship + beer, the BEER NO WAVES, it was about rowing as fast as possible accompanied with beers drinks of penalty. The French Robin Falxa took the “cat to the water”, never better said since it belongs to the longboard team “Gato Bask”. He was first classified in rowing, as in beer and maneuvers the next day in the official championship.
The section of motorcycles were present Russell Mecanica, CRO, Yamaha Yard and many others. On Saturday, a route to Lake Covadonga was organized, in which time did not go too far.
In general a very fun weekend with good people and little surf.
